Bayfields Opticians and Audiologists
Your vision and hearing are arguably your most important senses, so let us take care of them. No one works harder to get to know you as an individual and to look after your vision and hearing
At Bayfields, we do things differently. A Bayfields Eye Exam is 45 minutes long and you will be under the care of an industry-leading Optometrist who will spend the time getting to know you, your eyes and your lifestyle.
Our Bayfields Eye Exam always includes a scan as standard
Utilising either the OCT or the Optomap diagnostic scan as part of our Bayfields Eye Exam allows our Optometrists to detect early stages of potentially dangerous eye conditions, such as macular degeneration and glaucoma, before your vision is compromised.
OCT – combining the technologies of a CT and ultrasound scan, this produces a 3D scan of the back of your eye.
Optomap – most tests can only capture 10-15% of your retinal image, but the Optomap sees 80% in one panoramic pass.
