Woking serves up Patisserie Valerie
Patisserie Valerie is to open at the Wolsey Place element of Woking Shopping, the joint venture between Moyallen and Woking Borough Council.
It will open a 2,050 sq ft café in the autumn.
Tim Buckley, asset manager at Moyallen, said: “We are delighted to have secured this letting to Patisserie Valerie and it supports our drive to reposition Woking as a better quality shopping destination.
“Their imminent arrival also adds to our previous letting activity to Prêt, Paperchase and Jones. With footfall continuing to grow and positive trading figures being achieved across the centre, it is all indicative of a resurgent Woking town centre.”
The news follows the announcement last month that Topshop is upsizing to create a new 5,966 sq ft store in Woking. The new Topshop opens later this month and is a third larger than the brand’s current store in the town.
Nash Bond and JLL acted for Moyallen and Woking Borough Council. Patisserie Valerie dealt directly.
