The future workforce of Britain needs you!
Could you inspire students in Woking?
We are looking for 25 business people to help us to deliver the Mosaic Network's Enterprise Challenge in the Woking area. As part of the national programme, the aim is to help secondary school students aged 11-16 learn about establishing and running a business.
If you can spare 6 hours of mentoring over a six week period in January and February, and have the 28th November 5.30-8.30pm free for an intensive training session, we would like to hear from you! The mentoring can be split depending upon the students and the availability of the mentor, so it can fit around you.
This opportunity not only allows you to support local young people, but it can build your inter-personal and professional skills, which could help either you or members of your team. There is more information enclosed, but please feel free to drop me a line should you wish to wish to ask any questions about the programme. Also, you can visit the website http://www.mosaicnetwork.co.uk/en_gb/portal/enterprise-challenge-moredetails.
The level of commitment to the programme depends on how the students progress in the competition, so if you feel you have advice to offer the future workforce of Britain, and have a vested interest in Woking, then please let me know your interest by the end of next week.
For more information, please contact Helen Samson on 01483 901814 or e-mail [email protected]
PS: If the 28th November is an issue for anyone, please do still let us know if you are interested so that we can arrange alternative dates if necessary.
