Business Rates retail relief
At its meeting on the 13 February 2014, Woking Borough Council agreed to use its discretionary relief powers to introduce a retail relief for qualifying businesses.
The relief is available to retail businesses with rateable values up to £50,000 providing the relief does not exceed the state aid provisions of 200,000 euros.
We will be sending out a form with business rate bills to those businesses which appear to qualify. Completed forms must be returned before we are able to grant the relief.
