"From Strategy to Action - Rolling out the Enterprise M3 Growth Deal"
Enterprise M3 Growth Deal Seminar
In July this year the LEP secured £118m in funding from the Government's Local Growth Fund for the Enterprise M3 area, including £35m confirmed for 2015/16. The projects that have received funding include £5m for the 5G Innovation Centre at the University of Surrey, over £88m for transport schemes to unlock housing, reduce congestion and improve sustainable transport, £13m for key skills centres, £10m to support housing and £1m to support the Enterprise M3 Growth Hub.
This Growth Deal will help to create up to 8,000 jobs, allow more than 7,000 homes to be built and generate up to £440 million in public and private investment in the Enterprise M3 area.
