Love Your Local Market Celebration Day
On Saturday May 23, Market Walk, home to some of Wokings finest independent retailers, will hold a Love Your Local Market Celebration Day, with family fun, great food, local shopping and entertainment.
Market Walk has a well-deserved reputation for amazing fresh food as well as being a top destination for a quick and delicious lunch. Traders and caterers will be going all-out to showcase their foodie talent, with plenty of tempting tasters on offer throughout the day as well as offering shoppers a chance to win Market Walk shopping vouchers in a free prize draw. Free activities for kids include face painting and the enchanting Miss Lala, stilts supreme and balloon modeller. The Buskers Showcase is rocking a line-up of local musicians. Activities will run from 11am-3pm.
Love Your Love Market Fortnight is a nationwide celebration of market culture and entrepreneurship, running from May 13- 27. Market Walk wants to raise awareness of the local entrepreneurs who have businesses there. On the day, local start-up businesses can find out about various opportunities to kick start their business at Market Walk.

Taylors Coffee House has revived Wokings love for coffee. Taylors Coffee House is a third wave local coffee innovator. Their craft coffee is ground in Woking.
The Breadstall is run by 25 year old entrepreneur, Adam J ONeill. As a graduate of Tante Marie Culinary Academy, Adam brings fresh, artisan baking to Woking.
