Exhibit At This YearÂ’s Woking Food And Drink Festival

Woking Food and Drink Festival is inviting food and drink producers, retailers, caterers and restaurants to apply to exhibit at this years festival, taking place from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 September 2016.

The festival aims to showcase the very best food and drink that the area has to offer by receiving applications from Borough-based businesses, surrounding Surrey areas and the South East.

Following the festivals tried and tested recipe, the free, three-day event will be held in the heart of the refurbished Woking Town Centre incorporating Jubilee Square, Commercial Way, Market Walk and Gloucester Walk, which will host over 80 food and drink exhibitor stalls, the Tante Marie Culinary Demonstration Stage, a bake off competition, childrens cookery workshops, masterclasses, celebrity book signings and much more.

Now in its fourth consecutive year, the festival has gone from strength-to-strength since its launch in 2013. Last years event attracted 90,000 visitors, which featured an array of free, interactive activities for adults and children, a globally inspired selection of local and regional exhibitors, cookery demonstrations from local and celebrity demonstration chefs, including Monica Galetti (co-presenter and judge on BBC Two's MasterChef: The Professionals), John Whaite (Great British Bake Off winner 2012, TV presenter and food writer), and Michelin star chefs, Steve Drake and Michael Wignall.

Topping off the successes of last years festival, it was also named Best Local Food Event at the Surrey Life Food and Drink Awards 2015, following a public vote and judging process by an expert panel of local food and drink judges.

Speaking about this years festival, Cllr John Kingsbury, Leader of Woking Borough Council, said: Woking Food and Drink Festival gets bigger and better each year. It is our flagship event which showcases what a vibrant place Woking is to live, do business and visit.

The festival is an ideal platform for local food and drink producers to promote their businesses and sell their products to tens of thousand visitors deriving from across the Borough, London and the South East.

Year on year, we receive increased positive feedback from the exhibitors who are impressed by the amount of visitors, the event content, infrastructure and high level of sales many sell out of their stock each day.

The exhibitor application process and event management will be managed by specialist company, Do You Love Food Ltd. Exhibitor stalls are priced on a three-day hire only and according to the nature of the exhibitors business.

Included in the exhibitor fee is one waterproof gazebo (3m by 3m), which will be erected and dismantled by the event management company. Ancillary items (such as tables, chairs, electrical sockets, etc.) can also be booked and are available at an additional charge per item.

This years festival will be delivered in partnership with Woking Shopping and sponsored by Tante Marie Culinary Academy and the Woking Advertiser.
