Something is brewing at Global Travel Management
Leading UK Travel Management Company, Global Travel Management is toasting its 20th anniversary with its own line of real ale - Globe Trotter.
The award winning TMC, has an international clientele but as a family owned business it has never lost touch with its roots in the Surrey village of Horsell, home to Thurston’s Brewery, which is producing this limited edition of its award-winning Thurston’s Gold.
Scott Pawley, GTM Managing Director, is recognized for the leading role he has played in the travel industry, having just received the 2017 Outstanding Achievement Award from Advantage Travel Partnership, the UK’s largest independent travel agent consortium.
“When I started Global Travel Management with my wife Natalie, we literally started from nothing. So today, it’s fantastic for us to see how far we have come as a business, with a client list of businesses all around the world,” says Scott. “They range from large corporations and high-profile celebrities to local SMEs and one-man operations.”
Scott attributes GTM’s success to the company’s customer service: “All our clients have personal service from a close-knit and highly experienced team.”
Scott has personally led many of industry acclaimed initiatives through his leading role in Focus Partnership a network of 69 UK TMCs, affiliated to Advantage. This has included the Focus Fare Finder Tool, invented by Scott, and which has achieved over £1million of air savings for the group’s member year on year.
“At GTM we have been able to take a leading role in helping to ensure that, investing time and energy in supporting Advantage Focus members. We have to ensure our sector is strong because of the many pressures on the travel industry these days. We are only as strong as the market we are a part of.”
