A sight for sore eyes
Specsavers has opened a new £600,000 state-of-the-art store at Unit 17-19 in Wolsey Place shopping centre, providing a range of best value optometry, audiology and other healthcare services.
In addition to stocking some fabulous frames, the team is on hand to offer eye examinations, hearing tests and ear wax removal and contact lens consultancy fittings. They also have an onsite laboratory facility that allows the store to turn around customers’ prescriptions around in quick time.
Eye and hearing examinations are paramount, yet Specsavers estimate that over five million Specsavers customers have missed an eye or hearing appointment since in March last year.

With a new Woking team deploying correct measures to keep you safe in store, the UK’s largest opticians and audiology specialists is open every day from 8.30am to 6pm and 10am to 5pm on Sundays. Specsavers is also continuing to offer its remote services for people who are self-isolating, vulnerable or unable to leave their home.
Woking Shopping has also welcomed H&T Pawnbrokers to its stellar retail line-up at Wolsey Place, providing a wide range of financial services including travel money and unsecured loans as well as collection of pre-owned jewellery and Swiss watches.
Part of a 250-strong national network, it provides in-store valuations on gold, jewellery, diamonds, gemstones and watches.
